Conductive Ensemble // Interactive Performance //Pedro Lopes // 20 min performance, at 22:00, 23:00
Conductive Ensemble is a performance by Pedro Lopes, in which musicians are controlled by the audience. The musicians are connected to electric devices that send out pulses to the musicians’ muscles given orders from audience members’ smartphones.To interact, audience members simply open their browser and tap on buttons to decide which musician they want to “play”. In doing so, the audience participates and controls a sound piece which is forced on the musicians.
