The fourth annual 2026 EESF will take place at the Herb Alpert School of Music at CalArts in Valencia, CA from September 24-26. Electronic sound ARTISTS from all corners of the universe will converge at CalArts over three evenings to present CONCERTS of experimental sound works.
The 2026 Experiments in Electronic Sound offers a platform for musicians and artists whose works blur the boundaries between composition, improvisation, and sound art. The festival follows a rich tradition at CalArts for embracing alternative ways of thinking, being, and creating in relation to electronic sound. By presenting a series of concerts, the Herb Alpert School of Music invites the broader community to come together and share their work.
