I have the immense honor of playing with the Friends of the Gamelan ensemble (under the current artistic direction of Alex Yoffe) at the Morton Arboretum, part of the destination asia festival. While I just recently started rehearsing with Friends of the Gamelan, their ensemble has been actively performing Javanese Gamelan music for years and you can listen to them here.
